hi! I'm Diya

/Sanskrit : "derived from 'diyam' symbolizing enlightenment"

I’m a student at Stanford University, majoring in Design and Human Computer Interaction, with a minor in Data Science. Here, I craft strategies to design solutions that feel effortless yet powerful.

Growing up between Dubai’s golden sands and India’s lively streets taught me to find patterns in contrasts and stories in everyday life. Now living in San Francisco, I’m learning to turn those stories into designs that honour simplicity and feel deeply human.

At my core, I value design that’s clear, kind, and thoughtful. I care about creating things that people trust and experiences that feel like they were always meant to exist.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me trying out new cafes, painting late at night, or striking up conversations with new people and learning about their worlds.
